Matcha Electrolyte Cooler (Light, Hydrating, Not Too Sweet)

A crisp iced drink when you want hydration plus gentle matcha lift.

Ingredients

Ingredient tip: Using ceremonial grade matcha powder helps keep flavour smooth and balanced in this recipe.

  • 1/2 tsp matcha (about 1g)
  • 200ml cold water
  • 100ml coconut water
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp lemon or lime juice
  • Ice
  • Optional: 1/2-1 tsp honey

Method

  1. Whisk matcha with 30ml water into a smooth paste.
  2. Add remaining cold water and coconut water.
  3. Add salt, citrus juice, and optional honey.
  4. Shake or stir well over ice.

Adjustments

  • Lower caffeine: use 1/4 tsp matcha.
  • Higher carbs (training days): add extra coconut water or honey.
  • Sugar-free: skip honey entirely.
